On the 5th of October we will be celebrating the roots of HE Space with a special Apollo event in Noordwijk. The event is exclusive to HE Space employees and their partners and will include two Apollo astronauts. From the Apollo 7 crew, the first mission with a crew of three people, we have invited Walt Cunningham. Apollo 7 was the mission to test the Command Service Module. Rusty Schweikart (Apollo 9) performed the first EVA of the Apollo programme. With Apollo 9 NASA tested all the modules for the subsequent moon-landing. Scott will describe his experiences in preparing these and other Apollo astronauts for their ground-breaking missions. The event will be held at the Muze theatre, Wantveld 2, 2202 NS Noordwijk from 15:00 to 17:00. Please use the side entrance (zij-ingang). There is ample (paid) parking adjacent to the theatre. You are welcome to bring your partner or other companion providing he/she is at least 15 years old. Unfortunately, there is a limitation of 100 places so these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note that travel to the Netherlands will not be compensated.
