Matroos Knocker White voelt zich ongelukkig. Het probleem is dat hij direct weer op zee moet en hierdoor zijn verloofde moet missen. Zijn verloofde en bijhorende familie besluiten om hem uit te zwaaien maar er komt onenigheid van. Juist wanneer hij met de boot mee wil vertrekken, krijgt hij letterlijk een baby in handen. Onmogelijk om de baby terug te geven besluit hij, samen met zijn beste maat Puncher Roberts, om de baby maar mee op de boot te nemen. Dan blijkt dat het niet zo simpel is om een baby verborgen te houden...
